Text Field Hotspots

A Text Field hotspot (sometimes called an "Info hotspot") is designed for shorter rich-text popups: quick info blurbs rather than long-form content. If you need something brief, like a one- or two-line note about a feature, this is usually the better choice over an Article hotspot.

Setting up a Text Field hotspot

1. Drag the Text Field hotspot icon onto your panorama.
2. Write your text using the rich-text editor, which offers formatting options similar to the Article hotspot: bold, italic, underline, lists, hyperlinks, inline images, text color, and alignment.
3. Adjust the popup width setting to control how wide the popup appears.

When to use it

Choose a Text Field hotspot for short, focused information (a label, a quick fact, or a brief note), and reserve Article hotspots for longer descriptions.
