Floor Plans & Maps

Two plugins from the Marketplace help visitors understand where they are in your tour, either within a building or in the real world.

Floorplan plugin

The Floorplan plugin overlays a 2D floor plan image on top of your tour, with clickable markers placed on it. Clicking a marker jumps the visitor straight to the matching scene.

It also shows a live "radar" indicator on the floor plan, a small pointer that shows which direction the current scene is looking, updating as the visitor looks around. This gives visitors a helpful sense of orientation as they explore.

Google map plugin

The Google Map plugin shows a real-world map pin for your tour. You can choose to show:

• One pin for the whole project, if the tour represents a single location.
• Different pins per scene, if your tour spans multiple real-world locations.

The map's info window opens and updates automatically as the visitor moves between scenes, so the map context always matches what they're currently viewing.

Choosing between them

Use the Floorplan plugin when you want visitors to navigate using a layout of the space itself (like a property blueprint). Use the Google Map plugin when you want to show real-world geographic context, such as a neighborhood or city location.
