Hotspots Overview

Hotspots are the interactive markers you place on a panorama to bring your tour to life, letting visitors navigate between scenes, view extra photos and videos, read information, listen to sound, or click through to a website.

Adding a hotspot

1. From the editor toolbar, drag a hotspot icon onto the spot in the panorama where you want it placed.
2. Fill in its details in the side panel that appears.

Once placed, you can drag an existing hotspot to reposition it at any time. Most hotspot types also let you customize the icon or image used to represent them, as well as their width and height.

Password-protecting a hotspot

Individual hotspots can be password-protected on their own, separately from any password protecting the whole project. This is useful if you want to gate a specific piece of content within an otherwise open tour.

The seven hotspot types

• Point, Navigation link that takes visitors from one scene to another.
• Image, Shows a picture in a popup when clicked.
• Video, Embeds a YouTube or Vimeo video.
• Article, Rich, longer-form text content, like a full room description.
• Text Field, A shorter rich-text info popup.
• Sound, A positional audio marker.
• URL, A plain link to another web page.
